“Manning!” a loud voice yelled, and I fell off the barstool I was sitting on. “Manning, right?” Her question jolted me from my train of thought, and I nodded in response. The bartender was highly attractive, and the only reason I was in this bar in the first place was to admire. I chuckled at my own joke, then jumped off of the ladder and hit the lights as I exited the hangar. Can’t risk losing their best mechanic.” She laughed quietly for a moment before looking back at me.
